From clothing we are wearing to the transportation systems and even the medium through which we are reading this. One key aspect of engineering is to make our lives comfortable.
Mankind has traveled a long way from ‘early man’ to modern day human being. Since the known invention of fire and the wheel to rockets reaching Mars, engineering has provided infinite force to push for the development. Acknowledging incredible support of engineering to growth, governments all across the globe celebrate the Engineers day.
In India The Engineering Community marks Engineering day on 15th September every year. The date significance comes as a tribute to one of the greatest Indian Engineer and Bharat Ratna awardee Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya (commonly known as Sir MV). He was knighted as a Knight Commander of the British Indian Empire(KCIE) for his valuable contributions to the water management systems for the public good.
According to Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology definition of engineering is “The profession in which a knowledge of the mathematical and natural sciences gained by study, experience, and practice is applied with judgment to develop ways to utilize, economically, the materials and forces of nature for the benefit of mankind.”

Engineers scratch their hands, work long hours at a stretch, bring in various blocks together to build a solution for a problem. They look world differently and have a constant thrive to know and change the way it is.
